Exciting Tablao Show Raises Funds for Venezuela Earthquake Emergency
Our Flamenco Tablao for Venezuela on 21 August raised £1247 for Coromoto 2020, a charity helping to support earthquake-affected families in La Guaira which was badly affected during the 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes on 24th June 2026.
We chose this charity because one of our own students has family who are directly affected by this catastrophe, with first-hand experience of the devastation it has caused.
Huge thanks to everyone who came to support us - to our lovely audience, to everyone who made a donation, and of course, to all our amazing performers - our Tablao course students, our guest dancers Claire and Carlos, our talented singer Carlos, our fantastic group of musicians - led by guitartist Bryan and cahon player Ago, our volunteers Richa, Carina and Leon, and especially to our wonderful teacher Mel (La Leal) for creating a spectacular show in just 3 weeks!
