About our tutors:


Marco Flores (National Flamenco Award winner) was born in 1981 in Arcos de la Frontera, Cádiz. At age 18 he joined Sara Baras and Rafaela Carrasco's dance companies. He was also a guest artist in Mercedes Ruiz and Miguel Angel Berna's dance companies.

In 2004, he began his journey as director and co-producer of his own shows, working with Manuel Liñán, Manuel and Olga Pericet, and Olga and Daniel Doña. Marco started his solo career, founding his own company, Cía Marco Flores, in 2010. Since then, his company has performed extensively at major festivals and venues in Europe and the USA. 


Marco has been awarded the following prizes:

  • National Flamenco Art Competition of Córdoba - Carmen Amaya Award, Antonio Gades Award, Mario Maya Award, Special Dance Prize.

  • Deflamenco Magazine - Best Dancer Award

  • Flamenco Hoy, Specialized Critics - Best Dancer Award

  • Critics of the Festival de Jerez - Best Show Award “DeFlamencas”

  • Flamenco Festival of the Virgen de las Nieves (Arcos de la Frontera) - Gold Medal

  • Radio Nacional de España - El Ojo Crítico Danza Award


An outstanding dancer from Chipiona (Cadiz), Aurora Caraballo has trained with leading dance professionals including Mercedes Ruiz, Belen Maya, Eva la Yerbabuena, Marco Flores and Farruco. At only 14 years old she was chosen to represent Spain in the flamenco dance modality in Holland by UNESCO. She won third prize in the tablao competition at the 2019 Jerez Festival.


She is currently a member of the Mercedes Ruiz company, performing in the show Tauromagia, which had its premiere at the Seville Biennial and was featured at festivals including Mont de Marsan and Jerez.
