Students on a High After Easter Intensive Flamenco Course

Exceptional teaching over the Easter weekend by two award-winning guest tutors, Mercedes de Córdoba and Aurora Caraballo, took our students to the next level!

Mercedes de Córdoba led choreography classes for intermediate to advanced dancers, and bulerias for elementary and improver-level students. Aurora Caraballo taught classes for bata de cola, elementary choreography and advanced bulerias. While cajon player, Ago Hernandez, helped students get a better understanding of flamenco rhythm.

With 11 hours of classes every day over four days at the City Academy dance studios, the immersive experience gave our students the focus to help them further develop their flamenco technique and artistry.
